I DIG Discovery Introductory Video

This exciting challenge video introduces students to Queensland Museum Network’s digital school program, I DIG Discovery.

Dr Scott Hocknull, Senior Curator and Palaeontologist takes students on a journey, sharing how he uses the science inquiry process to explore, inquire, plan and conduct investigations, analyse and evaluate his findings, and communicate his amazing ancient megafauna discoveries to the world.

Students are encouraged and inspired to do the same – to become scientists themselves, to explore the world around them and ask lots of questions to make exciting discoveries.

Connected directly to the Australian Curriculum Science Inquiry Skills, the I DIG Discovery Introductory Video is an excellent tool to motivate students to think scientifically, while making some amazing discoveries of ancient megafauna found in their own region.
